Description: Vintage Shakespeare Tru-Art Silent Intrinsic Automatic #1845 Fly Reel USA. This item came in from estate old stock liquidation sale and is in very good used condition, without original box. It was checked for rewind mechanism condition and showed nice functionality and silent work. Original old fishing line on reel left for new owner & could be replaced. The item currently is very rare, collectible & was produced in 1947. Only Martin Aut' Shore Co, Mohawk, NY had competing similar fishing products. It has comparable light wear due to use, or long storage/handling conditions. No markings, scratches, dents, mildew, or rust with touch of aged patina on metal reel body. The former owner of this item & an old fisherman highly valued this reel among other fishing tackle collection items and used it more than half century ago for North America freshwater fishing.
