Description: This is a Scarce Beautiful SANDOR torsade 8 Strand Burmese Jadeite necklace with a Carnelian embellished clasp Beautiful 8 Strand Jadeite Sandor Torsade Necklace - 8 strands of smooth, shiny, beads,45 beads in each strand for a total of 360 Burmese Jadeite beads that glow wonderfully under a black light. Small clear glass spacers are between each bead. The clasp can also be worn on the front or side as it looks like a beautiful constructed brooch with 11 carnelian stones on a bell shaped flower with a light tan/yellow enamel. See photos. Sandor created beautiful pieces from the late 1930s to the early 1970s. The “SANDOR” hallmark ( located on the back clasp) does not have a copyright symbol so most likely this necklace was made between 1930’s-1940’s The necklace measure approximately 14 inches in length.
