His designs are known for their beautiful mid century modern style and superb quality, and are highly sought after by collectors. He established Howard Pierce Ceramics in the 1930s and continued producing until his death in 1994. - Marked with Howard Pierce stamp on base. - Excellent condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. There is a small brown 'dimple' near the base of the neck on one side - just one of the quirks of handmade pieces. Measurements: 2 1/4" x 2 3/8" x 1 1/2"
