It reads; “Hello, I am the seller, and I lived in a neighborhood near the capital where these signs were posted. At that time, I worked for the voice of America, and could walk to work. At that time, the rents were affordable, but today, I could not afford to live there. (I now live in Montana). I came across that sign at the bottom of a trunk of mine that dates from that time. The sign definitely is the real thing. I once had another sign from another inauguration, which was in better shape, but I sold that a couple of years ago.
