Signs of wear but not excessive. These are heavy and well made but not sure from what country. The antiqued silver tone and dark patina copper tone work so well together - not sure of the actual metal used. As you can see from one of the pictures these candle holders are most likely designed for taper candles but work well with a tall votive too. Thanks for looking
