Description: Offered is a Vintage Mid Century (1952) Butterscotch & Cherry Bakelite Catalin Men’s Golf Trophy with a brass pedestal and figure. The trophy is 10” high, 3” long and 3 1/2” wide. This item is from a local estate and the trophy reads as follows: Republic Rubber Div. 1952 Low Average-38.8 S. Wittenauer Republic Rubber was a thriving local factory here in Youngstown, Ohio that unfortunately closed in 1989 amid the fall of the steel industry. This trophy is in very good vintage condition- there are some spots on the brass pedestal, as shown in photos. The Bakelite is in excellent condition. This is a rare find!
