Description: Beautiful vintage plastic Christmas tree made by Plasco from the 1949. Housed in its original box, this Christmas tree is full of lush white frosted plastic branches. There is a green stand and star tree topper. Includes tiny mercury ball ornaments to hook on the branches. Instructions for assembling are on the back of the box. The box is also wonderful with the great vintage graphics and red metal closure hooks on the back of the box. When assembled, the tree stands approximately 15" tall. Excellent vintage condition considering the age of the piece. The box shows some wear. A tiny few of the tiny mercury glass ornaments show normal age related patina or minimal paint loss. This is a complete set in it's original box. In the box: 9 plastic branches ( only one a tip is missing); 9 plastic seperators; 30 tiny mercury glass ornaments; 1 pole with green star and 1 green acrylic base marked " Columbia" Made in U.S.A. To make it safe to ship each piece is wrapped with padding leaving no room for the base in the original box but it is next to it. Merry Christmas!
