Description: Vintage Madame Alexander - Louisa May Alcott "Little Women" Beth (March) Doll made between 1947-1956. She has auburn hair and is wearing her original dress with cloth tag intact (see photo). According to the doll reference, the Louisa May Alcott Little Women March Dolls used the Maggie face mold. This doll has the Maggie face. The original dress features tiny rick rack and lace trim, lace bodice, tiny blue buttons on front, sheer dotted swiss fabric over cotton slip trimmed in lace and matching pantaloons. The dress definitely shows it's age, but displays nicely. Height: 13" tall Made of hard plastic, jointed body, wigged, sleep eyes with real eyelashes and closed mouth. Used the Maggie or Margaret face mold. Character's from the Little Women book by author Louisa May Alcott. Condition: Very good, vintage condition with tight, intact joints.
