Description: This lovely vintage cup is made of fine Verithin porcelain. The Lenwile Ardalt Company was located at 95 Madison Ave., New York, NY and began importing chinaware from Japan in 1945, shortly after World War II. These pieces are popular with collectors for their unique designs and beautiful craftsmanship. This cup features a raised frieze design of Grecian figures that encircle the entire piece. It has a matte outer finish but is highly glazed on the inside. It measures 3.375" tall, 2.375" in diameter across the top, 2" across the bottom and weighs 4.1 oz.
