Vintage Kramer Focus Guitar Neck Beak Headstock Rosewood Floyd Rose Ready

Description: PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION FOR CONDITION, SHIPPING, & OTHER INFORMATION. Up for sale is this used, 22 Fret, Vintage Kramer Focus Guitar neck from the 80’s with the factory finish on the face of the beak headstock sanded off. The heel of the neck looks to have had some of the clear coat finish removed, from the left and right side of the heel, in order to fit a standard fender sized neck pocket (2-3/16”) The through neck mounting holes for the locking nut shelf look to have been modified on the front or face of the neck but not the back. This was probably done to allow adjustment of another locking nut other than the original early 80’s R-2 nut that originally came on these necks. I don’t know as I’m merely speculating but it does not affect the mounting of the locking nut. The neck was like this when I purchased it years ago. I used a period correct early 80’s R-2 lock nut on this neck and had no issues what so ever. This neck plays very nice. Neck is straight and the single action truss rod functions as intended. Truss rod does extend beyond the heel a little. (See Pics) Frets are in good shape with plenty of life left. There is some slight indentations on a few of the lower frets but nothing major as you can clearly see in the pics provided. There are side marker dots. The neck heel on this neck is 2-3/16”. 22 fret 25.5” scale length. Nut shelf looks to be about 1-5/8” (R-2 locking nut) This neck is made from hard maple with a nice slab of rosewood fingerboard. I have way to many guitars and a bunch of parts as well that need to go as I need to thin the beard as they say so certainly no need to build anymore guitars. Over all the finish and condition of this neck is in good condition.
