Description: Based on the boxy lettering and the serial number under the bottom bracket, I would say this Attitude is #484 from 1992. The frame has no cracks or dents. The size is slightly confusing. The seat tube measures slightly over 18" center to top. That suggests a small. However, the rest is all medium. The part of the seat tube that sticks up over the center point of the top tube is 2", whereas on other attitudes I've seen it is 3". That means, from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top tube, this is approximately 16", which is the same as a medium. Also the top tube is approximately 22.8", or 57.9cm, which is also medium. This is basically a medium in all ways except that the seat tube extending above the top tube is shorter. The fork is a Rock Shox Mag 30. Frame and fork are painted to match, obviously. The paint isn't great anymore. There is fading and peeling. The fork moves smoothly but has weak compression. I don't know if the shock just needs to be serviced or rebuilt. The bottom bracket has some friction. Overall, this is not a frameset you can take out of the box and build right away. It needs some service and would benefit from a restoration of some kind. Still, this has to be one of the first Attitudes to be fitted with a Mag 30 Fork, making it a fairly interesting find.
