Umezaki Shujaku(1897-1969)was a Japanese artist born in Ehime prefecture in Japan. He was a pupil of a prominent artist, Hashimoto Kansetsu (1883-1945). Some light marks are present on the painting and mounting, otherwise the piece is in very good condition. It is accompanied by an original paulownia wood storage box with the artist’s signature.
