Description: Vintage Japanese Geisha Print LARGE SQUARE 100% SILK SCARF 27 x 27 " Doeskin color background. Very good condition and clean. The delicate stitching is straight and tight. Vibrant colors on 100 % silk. Small tag with Kanji characters. The Kanji on the front may be the Artist's name or a descriptive line about the lady subject. Measures 27 inches by 27 inches. One maker's tag on the back edge. Some wrinkles from storage. No holes, frays, missing stitches or odors. I find tiny spot in the solid background color that may be a makeup smudge. It is slightly darker than the doeskin color. It can be seen by holding the scarf up to a bright light. There is a minute production flaw; a few spread out pin-head size specks or errant dye. The most noticeable is on the lady's forehead (SEE PIC # 1 or 2). If you hold up the scarf to bright lights you can see a couple pin hole remnants (from jewelry or a clasp) in the background areas. There are some hair's-width lateral lines in the silk when viewed backlit with bright lights. The next dry-cleaning may alleviate some of the flaws noted above. Price reduced by $12 for the small flaws. This lovely and unique scarf is clean, bright and ready to wear. WHITE SPOTS AND STREAKS ARE REFLECTIONS AND GLARE FROM THE LIGHTING.
