Description: Vintage Jack Bryant Original Oil Painting Rooster and Hen "Chickens" 12" x 16" Handed down from family with 2006 certification of authenticity Jack Bryant was born in 1929 and raised in Texas and then passed away in 2012. He has used various techniques such as painting on canvas and leather, bronze sculpting, wood carving and silversmithing. In 1966 he was accepted as an Associate on the Cowboy Artists of America and was one of the founding members of the Texas Cowboy Artists Association. He also completed a life-size bronze sculpture of the famous rodeo bucking horse, Midnight, for the City of Fort Worth, Texas.
