Description: This is a superb antique Irish linen sheet and pillowcase set.. It consists of a top sheet and two envelope housewife style pillow cases. They each have a beautiful "S" monogram which has been hand embroidered.Surrounded by a ribboned cartouche, it is a beautiful designed monogram. Made from the finest beetled Irish linen, it is silky smooth and cool. The linen is like silk against the skin. This is a fine soft linen, not crisp. The sheet has a very small mend and one pillow case has a tiny pin hole. There are no stains that I can see, but there may be a tiny spot I have missed, but I could find nothing whilst ironing them. They are in great used condition. The sheet measures: 86 x 111" approximately . The monogram measures 6.5" long The cases are: 21.5 x 31" approximately. The monogram measures 5.5" long Together they weigh nearly 1kg before packing.
