Description: Vintage HOMESTEAD Single Bit Axe Head in clean condition. I believe it was made by Collins, but there are no other markings. Head measures 7 1/2" wide, weighs 3 Lbs. 5.4 Oz, and has an undamaged 5" edge. Edge is blunt and could use a good honing. Center eye for a handle measures 2 1/2" x 7/8". Add a handle to this and you'll have a real Beauty! Head is rust free and has been lightly oiled for protection. Make it yours today!
