Description: This is a mark II 3 1/8" vintage perfect reel . All parts have matching original TB7 stampings . This is used and has normal wear . Spins very nice . Has 1921 Mark II single check . However it does not have a Mark II insignia markings on drive plate . That makes it older and rarer than the 1921 . It was made before it was designated a Mark II . The standard Mark reels I , II and III were introduced starting in 1917 . A limited number of reels were trial reels before deciding what to name them and while Hardy was trying to standardize interchangeability of parts . Spool is 2 and 5/8 inches wide . Reel weighs 5.8 ounces on my scale .
