Description: Vintage Handmade Amish Crib Quilt. Beautiful all white with hearts quilted design. Very nice quilting using several designs. In wonderful condition, like new. The central design is a fancy heart with flowers inside and curlicues around. There are hearts in all four corners and an intricate design at each edge. Diamond design fills in the rest. The quilt is edged with handmade "rick rack" made of folded and stitched cotton fabric matching the quilt. It appears that the rick rack is machine sewn onto one side of the quilt and then hand stitched onto the other side with a blind stitch. The quilt is a soft "winter white" rather than "white white".What a lovely gift to welcome a new baby or use as a wall hanging. I can hand stitch a rod pocket sleeve onto the back if you'd like. There are two very small spots on the back side. I have photo'd them with a penny to mark them and show size. I have not washed the quilt. The total size is 43" wide by 44" tall. The actual quilt is 40.5 wide by 41.5 tall. The rick rack is 1.25" wide.
