Description: I purchased this used in Alaska in 2001. The coworker I bought it from said he had owned it for 5 or 6 years (he thought). Hubby & I played chess together on a regular basis but with the move back to Florida and life intervening, it has sat in the closet since 2004. It originally came from a smoking household which did not bother me because I have no sense of smell but if it would bother you, please do not purchase! I know that wood can hold the smell of smoke and I would not want any customer to be disappointed.It has the full set of hand carved pieces and they all fit inside the box. I will wrap them carefully to avoid any damage. The sides of the box are also carved.Please check photos carefully for full condition & description - if I see something is wrong I will absolutely state it in the description but I am human and it is possible to miss something which is why I post photos from as many angles as possible.If you have questions, feel free to reach out.
