Description: Vintage 1930s / 1940s German "Heiterer Himmel" (clear skies) washing apron. This apron was designed to be used when doing laundry and hanging up clothing to dry. The large pocket on the front is for clothes pins. OK condition with some flaws. There is some light staining from age / improper storage. I have not tried to clean it. It measures about 20" tall down the center. End to end, the straps are about 81.5" long. See photos for condition. A note on vintage clothing: I am not the original owner of these items, therefore I cannot guarantee their history. I am a non-smoker myself, but can't say the garment has never been around cigarette smoke or moth balls. While I would never list an item I find to have an offensive odor, I cannot ensure buyers (especially those very sensitive to odors) will feel the same as smell is subjective. I DO COMBINE SHIPPING!
