Description: Vintage Futaba FG Series FP-T7FG/K RC System Transmitter with Ch56 RF Modules #s FP-TF-AM MANY EXTRAS! Transmitter S/N 70512015, and Wall Charger Date Code IB87 (may put the manufacture date in 1987 – but not sure) This is a complete Futaba FM transmitter model FP-T7FG/K system, plus a lot more. It is an aircraft model console transmitter that has been long discontinued but has a wide appeal among collectors and nostalgia pilots. This system includes all components as shown in the pictures and as described below. It should be noted that there are TWO RF modules and TWO receivers that come in this lot. Everything is on Channel 56, AM. Virtually all major items are in excellent cosmetic and operational condition, especially considering the age of the equipment. The rudder and aileron duel rate toggle switches (upper right of the transmitter) had been replaced at some time in the past. There are minor scratches around the switch nuts likely from tightening the switches during installation. The switches operate properly and the duel rates function properly. Please see all pics for further detail. All equipment was tested using this transmitter. All servos work smoothly and both RF Modules work properly without any glitches. Both receivers were tested and worked properly on all channels. The transmitter NiCd battery took a full charge but should probably be changed / updated. In my opinion, it drains too fast to be considered very reliable. The receiver battery seems good – although it is only the typical 700mAh battery that was popular back in the day. I would upgrade it if you plan on using the system for actual flight. It should be noted that one of the RF Modules has been “GOLD Stickered”. The other is not. I’m not too sure if the unstickered module is still “illegal” or if the rules have changed – considering the more recent advancement of modern electronics. Many wiring adapters and leads, both F and G style ends – make any type of connection you may need 7. Rx/Tx Wall Charger Model FBC-8B(1), Date Code IB87 8. Instruction Manual Just a note FYI – a changeout of the transmitter battery is a simple task. It requires that both transmitter end caps be removed (simply removing the screws on each side). Then unplug the white battery connector/plug on the left side of the transmitter internals. Pull the battery out from the right side. Replace the battery in the reverse order. The original stock number on this battery was FUTM1430 NT8H TX NICD 9.6V 500M J G PCM with a retail price of $39.99 – but you will likely want to “build” your own using the old battery connector and the “dummy” battery cell.
