This set is in very good condition. It was lightly used and spent most of its life stored in a climate-controlled room. It is in great shape with all pieces...ready to be played. The mallets are all hardwood and in good condition. One or two of the white mallet caps have a little wear on them around the edges, but overall they are in very good condition. There are a few nicks and scratches consistent with light play but nothing too bad as you can see in the pics. The mallet heads are approximately 8" in length and the total length of the mallet is 27" including the head...no wimpy mallets here. Overall these are beautiful mallets. The six balls are ribbed with 3 stripes, are in solid good condition, and have very vibrant colors. There are 9 heavy duty white wire wickets along with the two posts...both in good condition. The stand is in good condition too and will be partially disassembled for shipping. Reassembly will just simply be a matter of inserting a couple of screws. If I can find a big enough box it will be shipped assembled as is. Overall, a very nice vintage Forster croquet set in very nice condition...ready for all your Fall picnics and gatherings.
