Description: This is a rare Flow Blue plate from 1905 that celebrates Myles Standish, a leader of the Plymouth Colony. The plate was made by Rowland and Marsellus in Staffordshire, England, and imported by A.S. Burbank of Plymouth, MA. The plate has several images of Myles Standish and his landmarks, such as the Myles Standish Monument, The Mayflower, and The Standish House. The back also has a quote from Longfellow's poem about Myles Standish and his sword of Damascus. This plate is a great piece of history. The plate is in good shape, with no chips. It has been cracked all the way across the plate and glued back together by the previous owner. There is some crazing on the back, but not on the front. Study the Pictures for any unnoted conditions.
