Description: Fiestaware Item: Vintage Medium Green Sugar Bowl Base. Shown with other vintage greens to show it is indeed Vintage Medium Green. Only Medium Green bowl is part of this auction. Age: Produced from 1959-1969. The sugar bowl was offered all of the 11 Vintage Fiestaware colors and predates the Medium Green, the last vintage color produced, which is considered by many to be the hardest color to obtain. Dimensions: 5" tall from tip of finial to base by 4" across from edge of lid to edge of lid, sugar bowl base is 3 3/4" wide across the top. Condition: The base of the sugar bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. With Vintage Fiestaware there may be slight variations in glaze, sand bumps which are glazed over “specks” during production or even “glaze pops” which happen when the pottery is fired, and an air bubble reaches the surface and bursts. These are not damage but manufacturing flaws that are not uncommon with Vintage Fiestaware. Some of these may be evident upon close inspection. If any are very noticeable, they will be mentioned. I’m a long time VINTAGE Fiestaware collector and will be offering other VINTAGE Fiestaware items for sale. Don’t confuse VINTAGE with Post 86 Fiestaware which is commonly misrepresented as Vintage. ALL ITEMS ARE GUARANTEED VINTAGE.
