This yellow is one of the five (blue, red, green, ivory & yellow) original Fiesta colors. Yellow was introduced in 1936 & retired in 1969. It was reintroduced in 1986. Yellow was the single longest color that was produced for the original Fiesta line.The color is all over the place in the pics that were taken in different lighting. The true color is the light yellow. I don't know if the bowl is the original bowl for this set but it is the only one I remember having. The plate is in excellent condition. The bowl has a few faint utensil marks but has no chips or cracks.
