Vintage EXCELLENT 1950s Stetson Beaver Twenty Gray Sz 7-1/8

Description: Excellent Near Pristine! Vintage very late 1950s Stetson Beaver Twenty, Gray, size 7-1/8. We know the tag states size 7 but this measures to a PERFECT 7-1/8, read below. It is perfectly shaped! It’s a real looker! Dad and grandson needed to do very little work on this one, just a bit of cleaning and minor steaming to get the shape back to the original style.This Beaver Twenty is easily “Hand-Bashed”! That fedora shape we did in 2-3 seconds! It just so very soft and thick that it’s easily “Hand-Bashed”! Currently it is shaped into a Pinched Crown Fedora but if you wanted a Center Dent only shape steamed into the crown please write to us before we ship you MUST write to us!As you can see the leather sweatband is still in excellent condition, there is no wear to the top edge (hat reed) and the sewn joint is perfect! You can see that this is a very late 1950 Stetson because of the Keyhole size tag and there is a very thin plastic overlay on the liner and the liner design and color. This Beaver Twenty is extremely soft, thick and pliable and can easily steamed into any shape or style you desire.if you have a preference, like a Center Dent only, you may write to us and dad will be happy to steam shape it for you.Just a OUTSTANDING classic fedora.NOTE: this was just edited to now include an option for a coat trolley string. The Gray or Black ones looks perfect with this fedora! This is NOT sewn onto the hat but could be by any decent tailor or the end can be trimmed off and used just as an adornment. It’s pretty easily done.Dad has a few different color newer 1960s Coat Trolley strings that are listed here on eBay. They make great additions to any hat for that extra bit of styling. Back then there was No hat sizing standardization, that happened after the 1970s when the Tilley Hat Sizing Chart was finally agreed upon by the big hat manufacturers.
