Description: For sale is a rare Evette Schaeffer tenor saxophone by Buffet Crampon with a serial no.17624 which I believe dates from 1920s.(Maybe even before that).Horn is built very solid and plays great from top to bottom. It's bell is larger than my Selmer Mark VI saxophone and it has a nice dark tone when played with my 10mfan hr tenor mouthpiece. Saxophone has slight tarnish and small dings here and there. Plays well with existing pads. Comes in vintage box case or saxophone shaped hard case if so desired.
