Description: JR Watkins company was at one time the largest direct sales supplier of home health products and was founded in Winona, Minnesota in 1868. In the early years of its existance many of its products had curative claims that were often dubious. This bottle likely dates from the late 19th or early 20th centuries. There is no indication as to what it may have contained but it is embossed with the JR Watkins name and Reg. US Pat. Off. on the front. Bottom of the bottle has a large O and chevron in the middle (most likley the maker of the bottle) and the number 13. Condition is fantastic with no chips or cracks. This is not a screw top bottle but was designed for a cork.
