Description: Vintage Scarce Disneyland photo. This great personal black and white photo of guests walking along Smuggler's Cove on Tom Sawyer's Island. The developer imprint indicates the photo is from October 1957. What's most fascinating to me in this photo is the building faintly seen in the background. If you look at my modified scan #3 of this photo, you can see it is the Plantation House in Frontierland, which is scarcely seen in photographs. The Plantation House was a restaurant sponsored by Swift's Premium Meats, and was in operation at the park from 1955 to 1962. It was located approximately where the Haunted Mansion sits today.
