Description: Up for bid is a vintage Colonial Williamsburg brass soldier form doorstop. The piece is 11 ½ inches tall by 8 inches wide. The figure is secured to the base with two screws. It is marked “WILLIAMSBURG” on the back of the figure, and has the Williamsburg Restoration oval trademark, the “WM” mark, and “CW 18-65” on the base. Condition on the piece is fairly good. It has darkened from age, and there is some stray white paint on the surface. One screw head is corroded as shown. A decent vintage piece of Colonial Williamsburg metalwork.
