Description: Vintage Citizen Electronic Cosmotron Kanji and English 1974This is a 1974 Citizen Cosmotron with a silver toned dial. The movement beats at 36000 times per hour. This is an electro-mechanical watch which means it has elements of a traditional manual wind/automatic watch, but uses a battery and transistors as well--It is a hybrid technology and should not be considered to function in the same way as does an automatic. The date and day can be set using the crown (When the watch is held upright, date correction becomes possible, while held upside down day correction is possible using push in crown quickset). 36.5mm case.
