Description: Vintage Chivas Brothers Ltd. Whiskey bottle Jug w/ articulating metal & wood handle For your consideration is this interesting antique whiskey jug with a red plastic lid with the Chivas Brothers Ltd logo. I found it behind a basement bar of a Boston area estate. The jug has a brass tone metal and wood articulating handle to allow you to carry it easier, especially when full of whiskey! I could find no other examples on line so don't know the exact age for this. My guess would be 1950s. No chips or cracks to the glass. Plastic screwtop in good shape. Wood handle in good shape but shows age. Metal has some oxidation and variability in tone but is in good shape for its age. Glass marked China’s Brothers Ltd Aberdeen Scotland. It measures about 12” tall x 6” wide w/ handle down and 7.25” wide when articulated. It will weigh about 5lbs packed safely. Thank you.
