Description: An absolutely beautiful antique/vintage faille fabric in a marvelous chinoiserie inspired figural floral.Gorgeous elements done in a variety of colors on a taupe type mushroom tone.The scale is large on this. And a mid density slightly satin textile.Faille, as some of you know, was a bark cloth period fabric which is slightly more satiny and has tiny very subtle ribbing to the ground. Very popular in the 40's.This one is a splendid example. Appears unused and in lovely condition.I am offering 2 variations of this one in separate listings.This one will have 2 of the bowls (photo 3) and a bit more florals to the upper portion, so good for a couple of pillow fronts or valance perhaps? Very suitable for clothing elements and bags as well.
