Description: This is a letter written to Mrs John S Cather after her inquiry about her husband, LT John S. Cather, by the Assistant Director of News Broadcasts at Colombia Broadcasting System INC. In the letter, Asst. Director Wells Church could not find any mention of Lt Cather in their broadcasts. The broadcast was dropped from Guam due to poor reception at the time of the broadcast. Mr. Church suggested to check with some of the other networks to see if it was from one of their newscasts.
