Description: Up for auction is a old Pennsylvania Dutch carved wood fold up step stool as seen in my photos above. This one first prize at the York Pennsylvania Fair also as seen in my photos. The top is carved with edelweiss flowers along with H Hurter nameplate. It does seem to be in working order but I don't think I would want to use it as a step stool, I'm selling this as a Amish folk art piece. This came off an old Dutch farm in Lancaster Pennsylvania.
