Description: These are original full page CARTOONS prints from vintage “PUNCH (The London Charivari) magazines published between 1915 and 1939. The cartoons are not reproductions, photocopies or reprints. They are in the condition shown in the photographs and are ready to be mounted and framed in whatever way you want. Each full page measures approximately 11¼ inches (29 cm) high and 8¾ inches (22 cm) wide and has a cartoon printed on one side and various text, advertising or other cartoons, on the reverse (back) side. One of the long edges is “rough cut” where it was removed from the spine of the “Punch” magazine and may have slight “rust marks” from the original metal staples which held the pages of the magazine in place. There maybe some “tanning” or “yellowing” of the paper – which is natural with old newsprint. For each cartoon print the first photograph shows the full page cartoon + our reference # number, the second shows the publication date and reference # and the third shows (approximately) what the cartoon could look like when framed. This can be enhanced by using a picture mount. The price and availability of each cartoon by REFERENCE # (& date) is shown in the “drop-down menu” , together with the three photos.
