When Germany invaded Czechoslovakia in 1939 Porsche was inspired by the designs of this company, mainly the very streamlined Tatra 77 which helped create the Volkswagen Beetle. The Tatra 603 was a large rear-engined luxury car. In Socialist Czechoslovakia only high ranking party officials & heads of factories were driven in 603s. The car was also exported to countries like France. This model is hand painted aluminum & is mounted on a wooden base. It is in excellent condition, just about mint, the base has some very tiny chips along one edge & the car roof has some very minor scuff marks that are hard to see. This is a rare executive desk or showroom model that was kept in very good condition. Please look at photos carefully.
