Description: Here is our 1950's Montgomery ward's airline brand tube radio. It may have come from a 1949 Jeepster which we once had. It takes electricity and does not short but does not fire up. It is missing a tube. It is a six-tube unit and only five are present. We probably borrowed it many years ago for another radio. It is not a deluxe model as it is not of the push button variety. Anyway, it comes with the original schematic which is neatly kept in the lower chassis. I am sure a radio wizard could get this going in no time. The speaker looks very good as does the upper chassis. It has beautiful purple Bakelite knobs. The tuner is intact and works. It is an electrical mechanical contraption. Great for an old car but it is heavy. It is currently Not working. It is about 10 by 10 by 8. It also takes up room. Sold as is Not working. Ask questions. Thank you.
