Description: VINTAGE C. 1920-30 "Gleneagles Putter"-Railed by Gibsons of Kinghorn - SCOTLAND. This vintage Gleneagles Putter Made by Gibsons of Kinghorn and was made in Scotland. It is a Railed or High Center of Gravity putter made for the greens of England &Scotland that had longer grass on the greens - thus the rails on the bottom of the putter cut through the grass on the green and provide a high center of gravity for the putter. This putter has rustles steel head and the markings on the back are: 1. At Top the Gibson logo (Star with G in center) then Made in Scotland; 2. Middle of back "Gleneagles Putter" then Gibsons of Kinghorn" and next RUSTLESS. The face of the putter is dotted. The putter has a steel step down shaft, 12 1/2 inch leather grip with plastic end cap and is 35 inches long. This is a very nice vintage putter. Please review photos.
