Description: This is an original BMW replacement speedometer, made by SWF, a German supplier to BMW. It is in very good condition, and was operating when I removed it from my r69s. The original curved glass can be seen in the pics. It was removed because it's internal ratio was not correct for my bike. As you can see, its ratio W=1.52, appears to have been mfg in 1962. Handwritten on it is a BMW speedometer part number 8080 044. From what I've researched it's likely for a boxer twin with rear ratio of 35:9. This ratio was available on a number of BMWs, including R51/2, R51/3, R68 etc. You'll have to determine if this will be suitable for your machine.
