Description: Vintage Art-Deco Style ROYAL ROCHESTER Teapot w Metal Lid & Tea Strainer (DAY) This teapot was made in Ohio and decorated by Royal Rochester some time between 1920 and 1939 (according to our research of the markings). It has a distinctive Art Deco flair with a soft cream colored background and gold hand-painted deco shapes. The lid is metal and is marked Royal Rochester T49. Apparently, there was another piece that was inserted in the lid handle that held the acorn shaped tea strainer in place. The tea strainer is included and has a chain but is no longer attached to the lid. Measures approximately 7 1/2" spout to handle and 6" tall. There is a chip on the edge of the spout (a little touch up paint and it will be hardly noticeable!). Please see the photos for more details and the actual condition.
