Vintage Apilco Copper Porcelain Lined Double Boiler – Brass Handles

Description: Offered here is this Vintage Apilco Copper Porcelain Lined “Bain Marie” Double Boiler. It is in very good condition, with only some light tarnishing on the copper. The handles on the pans are brass, and the insert is porcelain, and the pan, tension ring and lid are copper. I am unsure of the exact age of the set, but I believe that it dates to the 1950s, and it was made in France. It has some light scuffs on the bottom, but the porcelain is quite pristine, and the set looks like it may have only been used once or twice, if at all. The set together is 7” tall at the top of the lid. The bottom pot is 4” tall, 3.75” deep, 5” in diameter. The porcelain pot is 4.25” tall, 4” deep, and about 5 1/8” in diameter. The handles on the pots are about 4.75” long. This is a great set that is sure to be a useful and cherished addition to your kitchen.
