Description: Very cool huge, full size hinges for a interior or exterior door. In 30 years of architectual salvage, I have never seen these this big. They came out of a 1880s house that had a 1920s butler pantry addition. These are heavy duty, thick forged steel, not cheapie stamped steel. They have their original brass finish, covered with a few coats of old varnish. Normal light scratches and wear from normal use. The rectangular part measures 3.5"x1 5/8", the decorative butterfly part would sit on the face of the door. They both work smoothly and properly when installed on a door. Six of the original screws are included, the ones that go on the exposed part, oddly the part of the hinges that were attached to the door jamb were held on by nails.
