Description: This beautiful antique patchwork quilt is a stunning addition to any room and an endearing reminder of yesteryear. Based on the information I have, this quilt was made sometime between the early 1930s and the late 1940s. In the early 2000s, another quilter added a machine stitched border, giving it the look of doning a crocheted lace skirt. This beautiful quilt measures approximately 94" in length and 89" in width. After an initial inspection, it has 4 petals where the feedsack material has deteriorated. Please see all of the pictures as they are part of the description. In looking at the photos of how the quilt drops down on the sides of the bed, the pink fabric on one side has faded some. There is also one area closer to the edge where the brown striped "petal" has minimal staining. Shown on a full-size bed, this rectangular quilt is made of breathable 100% cotton and is suitable for all seasons. With its farmhouse feel, this quilt could be used as a bed topper, an accent throw, or extra quilt for your guest bedroom.
