These handmade Turtle Footstools have 6 pieces of solid pine or redwood assembled with screws, stained, lacquered with 2 coats of varnish to give it that extra protection to hold up to moisture, and then assembled with screws. They each have approx. 2 inches of foam and covered with upholstery fabric and finished with decorative furniture nails. From the floor to the top of the fabric it is about 9" high and from the tip of the tail to the tip of the mouth it is about 20 " long. The top is about 12 " inches in diameter. They weighs approx. 3.5 lbs Custom orders are welcome if you’d like a particular type of wood (oak, cherry etc), stain shade (I have over 50 different stains to choose from), a specific type of material (leather, silk, cotton etc) or color or theme.
