Description: Vintage 6 LP Lot #171: Firestone Presents Your Favorite Christmas Carols / Music - Volumes 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 from 1962 to 1968 Comments: This lot contains six LPs from one of the best (and classiest) of the 1960s Christmas music collections. I listened to each and every one of these records from start to finish after cleaning them. The music sounded wonderful all the way through the 6 LPs. The album covers show varying amounts of wear, as you can see in the photos. See further comments below where each album is described. Visual Record Condition: The vinyl condition is VG+ on average, varying from VG to NM. Individual LP grades are shown below. The records are still glossy with varying amounts of surface scuffs / light scratches. Some ticks and clicks are heard sometimes, but the records play with no skips or sticks and provide a satisfying listening experience. Record Labels Condition: The record labels look great for the most part. Jacket Type and Condition: The jackets conditions range from VG to EX with some amount of wear described below. All of the jackets are still visually pleasing and have been placed in brand new, protective poly outer sleeves to help prevent further wear. Inner Sleeve Type and Condition: The records are all in what appears to be original inner sleeves. Condition is described below. The Albums In The Lot: Favorite Christmas Carols From The Voice Of Firestone, 1962, Mono, VG Jacket with milder wear to the front artwork, heavier wear on edges and corners and a few small stains on the back. Vinyl is in VG condition - glossy with surface scuffs and some light scratches. Background record surface noise is heard as mild crackle with ticks/clicks heard here and there throughout. The quality of sound in the music is excellent though making the crackly/ticky background noise easier to handle. The disc is in its original inner sleeve which shows a little wear and a lot of discoloration around the edges. Firestone Presents Your Favorite Christmas Carols, Volume 2, 1963, Stereo, VG+ Jacket with light surface wear, some short surface creases and a little corner wear. The spine looks good. There are no seam splits. The vinyl is in VG condition - glossy with some surface scuffs and some audible short scratches. There are some light spindle tracks on the labels. Background record surface noise is mostly mild in the music but heard a little more in the silent parts of the groove. Occasionally, a scratch will produce some ticks/clicks for a little while. Overall though, this is a great sounding record with tolerable surface noise as described. The disc is in its original inner sleeve which doesn't show a lot of wear. Firestone Presents Your Christmas Favorites, Volume 3, 1964, Stereo, VG+ Jacket with light surface wear, a little heavier wear on edges and corners and some stains on the back. Vinyl is in Excellent condition - glossy with just a few light surface marks. Background record surface noise is mostly minimal in the music but heard a little more in the silent parts of the groove. This is a beautiful sounding record - very satisfying, near perfect sound. The disc is in its original inner sleeve which shows just a little wear.Firestone Presents Your Favorite Christmas Music, Volume 4, 1965, Stereo, EX condition Jacket with just mild wear. Vinyl is in VG+ condition - glossy with light surface scuffs and a few light scratches. Background record surface noise is mild - not bothersome. Light ticks and clicks are heard occasionally. The sound quality is excellent and the record is very enjoyable. The disc is in its original inner sleeve which is in good shape. Firestone Presents Your Favorite Christmas Music, Volume 6, 1967, Stereo, VG+ Jacket with milder wear. Vinyl is in EX condition - glossy with a few light surface scuffs. Background record surface noise on Side 1 varies from minimal to mild to moderate. Surface noise on Side 2 is very mild. The record provides an excellent, enjoyable listen. The disc is in its original inner sleeve which shows just a little wear. Firestone Presents Your Christmas Favorites, Volume 7, 1968, VG+ Jacket looks great with some with milder wear to the front artwork and a little edge corner wear as pictured. Vinyl is in Near Mint condition - glossy with a few light surface marks. Background record surface noise is negligible to minimal. This plays almost like a new record with excellent, clear sound. The disc is in its original inner sleeve which shows only light wear and some discoloration around the edges.Shipping Notes: Several different shipping service options are available for you to choose from at check-out.
