Description: This parka/smock was originally a 1940s Swedish military white (snow-issue/camouflage) that has been garment-dyed and repaired by a army/military surplus seller. Great vintage tags and military stamps on the inside of the neck. Color in the photos is slightly misleading (the photos trend cooler in color temperature) so make sure to check all the photos to get a good idea of the actual color. The last photo in the listing is a close-up of the fabric that is the most accurate - refer to that for coloring. Check measurements for fit. Hard to say what the size was originally, could've been anywhere from an L to a XXL. Likely it was originally oversized to fit over bulky gear. Measurements:Chest: 27.5 in Length: 36 in Hem: 28 in Shoulders: 22 in Sleeve Length: 24 in Good condition. Obviously has been dyed so no longer is white as it originally was. Additionally some small holes present in the upper chest area, as well as a few other scattered throughout. Shows signs of wear and actual use, with great honeycombing and fading evidencing natural distressing. Has two buttons replaced (one on the neck, the other on the left wrist. You could probably obtain more of the metal buttons if desired, or swap the button placement around to make the repairs less obvious. See photos for more details. Sold as-is.
