Description: The VINTAGE 2005 MANITOU DORADO MRD X WORKS DUAL CROWN DOWNHILL is extremely rare and highly collectible. Due to the inverted stanchions, the fork will accommodate 26/27.5/29 inch wheels. This is a top-of-the-line fork designed for mountain and freeride bikes. With 180mm of suspension travel, a sturdy aluminum and carbon construction, and a platform damper suspension type, this Manitou fork delivers superior performance and durability on the trails. The blue color adds a stylish touch to your bike, while the 1 1/8 inch threadless steerer tube diameter ensures compatibility with a range of bike frames. It can be retrofitted into a tapered frame with a 1.5" adapter plate for the headset. The steer tube is 8 inches long and will fit medium sized frames. If you have a large frame, an earlier version Manitou Dorado top crown custom drilled to accept a slotted direct mount stem will be installed upon request. The stanchions are in mint condition. The seals are very good and do not appear to be leaking. A Manitou Dorado specific 8 inch disc brake adapter will be included. The fork has never been crashed.
