This is filled with some sort of pellet type filler, it is very heavy. A lot of people list porcelain on these (I know they also come in vinyl). I am not a doll collector. I did work in a china department at a department store, and this doesn't feel like the porcelain they carry there. I have also had a antique doll I sold that was a composition doll...when I tap on this dolls head, it sounds more like the sound a composition doll makes. I don't think they make those anymore because of the fragility, but if you're a doll expert, you might know what this may be made of? Could it be soft fire? I don't even know what that is, but I know they made those in this doll. CONDITION:I took a lot of photos so you can see the shape this is in. Here are some of the things I noticed:One arm is very loose at the shoulder. Some loose threads. Some scratches and/or missing paint. Messy hair.
