Vintage 1983 Casio AQ-222 Analogue-Digital Wristwatch

Description: In the early 1980s, CASIO presented the world's first wristwatch with combined digital-analogue display. This is a very early model in this classic presentation with very clear Arabic numerlas plus a small digital screen underneath the dial. The modular no:308 and the series number is AQ-222. I assume this to be a very early model because of the branding. The face simply states 'CASIO' at the top and 'QUARTZ' at the bottom. Later models include 'water resist' at the bottom and 'Quartz' under the Casio name. Other models with the same numbers replace the numbers with markers. There are many examples of thee later models online. I purchased it in Japan in September 1983. The styling is very classic and is as fashionalble today as it was in the 1980s. There are very few details available on this particular model branding. (https://www.all-usermanuals.com/ claims to have manual but they charge £9.99 for PDF file.) It is in excellent condition. It has never been worn or handled (other than for photographs). I assume it is in perfect working conditions.
